Yummy Puerto Princesa and Enchanting Coron

Yes, we did. We had a gastronomic adventure in Puerto Princesa. Amidst my 2nd trip to the Subterranean Underground River and the Mangroves or Sabang River boat ride I will not also forget our yummy meals in Puerto Princesa City and Sabang. On top of my list is KaLui Restaurant (http://www.kaluirestaurant.com/)
The food and place was so good, we reserved our seats 2 days before.

Next in the list is the Badjao Seafood Restaurant because their food is just great and their view is just great during the sunset with the mangroves and the sea nearby. Next is Baker’s Hill, everything was delightful from their snacks or merienda to their delectable dishes at the restaurant. We also feasted in the affordable yet delicious goods of Kataboom, also along Rizal Avenue. We still ought to visit next time Itoy’s Coffee Shop, Kinabuch’s and Dangkalan Beach Resort Restaurant.

We also have a gastronomic escapade in Coron. On top of our list if Cauayanan. Their Kare-kare is simply amazing. We also tried Coron Edge restaurant, it is right below Mount Tapyas. So after you go up to the cross, reward yourself with a satisfying meal. Beyond these food, we are most astonished with the scenery, how these lakes, stone islands and white sand bars and beaches were marvelously formed and placed in the sea. It was hard to capture the view with your SLR. So you’ve ought to see it to believe it!

My husband, my parents, my siblings and my relatives are so so proud of me. Yes, after a few years of sending my self to the greatest graduate school in the Philippines, last August 7, 2011..I graduated =) The event was in Irwin theather at the gradeschool grounds in Ateneo Loyola heights.

We later had dinner in a thai restaurant which I enjoyed a lot..because I love veggies and spicy food =) But the event was even more special because my loved ones were there to celebrate this milestone with me.

Batanes: Stairway to Heaven

We went to Batanes last June. The beauty and starkness of the Batanes group of Islands is inviting. And to capture what it looked like cannot be captured by pictures alone, one should go there for himself or herself to truly appreciate its beauty. I remember very clearly how the rugged hills, well-landscaped shrubs and trees, endless horizon, white at sometimes stony beaches and blue waters paint the surroundings like great art masterpieces. It cannot be described by words. I remember too how fresh the air you breathe. How people preserved their ancestral environment of their homes. Life in Batanes is indeed peaceful, enchanting and satisfying. I think it is the next eco-tourism spot, Filipinos should visit.
