A New Beginning every May 11

There are three things to remember this 11th of May 2010...

Yesterday was the first ever automated election for national and local government offices..and today marks a new hope for our country.

A year ago, my fiance (now my husband..*giggle*) proposed in the beautiful island of Boracay during our parasailing ride...and today marks another chapter in our married life.

And today we pray for our angel, EOS. Thank you for being with us..please continue on looking over us. We love you. And we are truly blessed to have you.

Fire @ the HEAT [Shangrila Hotel Ortigas]

My hubby and I have always wanted to go to this restaurant. you know all dressed up... but with everything going on with my thesis in MBA, his events and our wedding preparations..we were not able to do this activity!

And because Kim and Loise are our wedding angels! And we are truly grateful to both of them for "everything" they've taken part in our wedding preparation and wedding day! We decided that it is best that we share with them this activity from our "list" weeks after the wedding day.

And so we came to celebrate with them that growing and flaming brotherhood and sisterhood at the "HEAT" Restaurant in Shangrila Hotel in Ortigas last sunday of March...with a blast!

Too bad, we didn't have enough battery power to take more pictures than these..hehehe!
But food was really great..One of the best buffet I've ever had! I was too full to even check the bill..good thing Loise was there to save me! Thanks again Loise..you're my angel!

2 weeks After the Wedding

We're so excited to grab our marriage contract that we went to Manila Cathedral last Holy Tuesday...only to fnd out that it is not yet done because "there's no government offices" open during the holy week..But the thing is Manila City Hall was open until Holy Wednesday..tsk tsk!

My hubby and I ended up at Marso Resto to celebrate in advance..the wedding two weeks after and my fourth semester as a dean's lister in AGSB...wuhoo!

The boneless bangus is gigantic..somehow salty but with the help of calamansi..it tasted better. The size is larger than the usual reataurants and fast-food chains offering of the same meal.

The special halo-halo is worth every peso..it was a pure delight (not better than Razon's!) but very very close to it.

Visit them in front of Manila Cathedral =)

Married for 51 years

Last year, April 10 - Good Friday; my grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding annivesary! And theire marriage is really an inspiration to all of us. They've given us snippets of advise for me and Robert during our visits to the Green House:

1. Trust
2. Respect
3. Love
4. Honesty
5. Presence and Time

Grandpa says he rules the whole household but Lola's commands the kitchen! Hahaha! Love them both!

We're tying the Knot!

It's happening =)
