Boracay Dos: Eat.Stroll.Laugh.
Late, late post.. Last 2013 June, we celebrated a lot of things ^_^
(1) Yani, Liby, Allan, Dave, Mom and Mae's first time in Boracay!
(2) Liby's Bday and Dave's Bday
(3) Our 1st time as family to fly together ^_^ (hopefully dad will be able to join us next time!)
What did we do? You guessed it right..
Mostly eat. We had our breakfast at our hotel: La Carmela. Then had meriendas with street food and Jonah's shakes several times. Then we had most our lunches at the market dampa and we don't want to miss that dinner buffet at Boracay Regency ^_^
We strolled at the Puka beach, the long beach and went to see the new hotels and restaurants. We checked out the bars but we went to our favorite night hang-out: Wave Bar (Boracay Regency) with good old friend Ed.
It was truly a happy, unforgetful and sweet experience to be with your family and loved ones in a picturesque island.

Yani, our blessing!
There are moments when I still stop and stare at you when you sleep. Your dad and I waited for you and prayed for you. And until this day and up to my last breath, I will forever be grateful and thankful to the Lord for blessing us with a bundle of joy in you.

Yummy Puerto Princesa and Enchanting Coron
Yes, we did. We had a gastronomic adventure in Puerto Princesa. Amidst my 2nd trip to the Subterranean Underground River and the Mangroves or Sabang River boat ride I will not also forget our yummy meals in Puerto Princesa City and Sabang. On top of my list is KaLui Restaurant (http://www.kaluirestaurant.com/)
The food and place was so good, we reserved our seats 2 days before.
Next in the list is the Badjao Seafood Restaurant because their food is just great and their view is just great during the sunset with the mangroves and the sea nearby. Next is Baker’s Hill, everything was delightful from their snacks or merienda to their delectable dishes at the restaurant. We also feasted in the affordable yet delicious goods of Kataboom, also along Rizal Avenue. We still ought to visit next time Itoy’s Coffee Shop, Kinabuch’s and Dangkalan Beach Resort Restaurant.
We also have a gastronomic escapade in Coron. On top of our list if Cauayanan. Their Kare-kare is simply amazing. We also tried Coron Edge restaurant, it is right below Mount Tapyas. So after you go up to the cross, reward yourself with a satisfying meal. Beyond these food, we are most astonished with the scenery, how these lakes, stone islands and white sand bars and beaches were marvelously formed and placed in the sea. It was hard to capture the view with your SLR. So you’ve ought to see it to believe it!

MBA@AGSB..Finally!
My husband, my parents, my siblings and my relatives are so so proud of me. Yes, after a few years of sending my self to the greatest graduate school in the Philippines, last August 7, 2011..I graduated =) The event was in Irwin theather at the gradeschool grounds in Ateneo Loyola heights.
We later had dinner in a thai restaurant which I enjoyed a lot..because I love veggies and spicy food =) But the event was even more special because my loved ones were there to celebrate this milestone with me.

Batanes: Stairway to Heaven
We went to Batanes last June. The beauty and starkness of the Batanes group of Islands is inviting. And to capture what it looked like cannot be captured by pictures alone, one should go there for himself or herself to truly appreciate its beauty.
I remember very clearly how the rugged hills, well-landscaped shrubs and trees, endless horizon, white at sometimes stony beaches and blue waters paint the surroundings like great art masterpieces. It cannot be described by words. I remember too how fresh the air you breathe. How people preserved their ancestral environment of their homes. Life in Batanes is indeed peaceful, enchanting and satisfying. I think it is the next eco-tourism spot, Filipinos should visit.

A New Beginning every May 11
There are three things to remember this 11th of May 2010...
Yesterday was the first ever automated election for national and local government offices..and today marks a new hope for our country.
A year ago, my fiance (now my husband..*giggle*) proposed in the beautiful island of Boracay during our parasailing ride...and today marks another chapter in our married life.
And today we pray for our angel, EOS. Thank you for being with us..please continue on looking over us. We love you. And we are truly blessed to have you.

Fire @ the HEAT [Shangrila Hotel Ortigas]
My hubby and I have always wanted to go to this restaurant. you know all dressed up... but with everything going on with my thesis in MBA, his events and our wedding preparations..we were not able to do this activity!

And because Kim and Loise are our wedding angels! And we are truly grateful to both of them for "everything" they've taken part in our wedding preparation and wedding day! We decided that it is best that we share with them this activity from our "list" weeks after the wedding day.
And so we came to celebrate with them that growing and flaming brotherhood and sisterhood at the "HEAT" Restaurant in Shangrila Hotel in Ortigas last sunday of March...with a blast!

Too bad, we didn't have enough battery power to take more pictures than these..hehehe!
But food was really great..One of the best buffet I've ever had! I was too full to even check the bill..good thing Loise was there to save me! Thanks again Loise..you're my angel!

Married for 51 years
Last year, April 10 - Good Friday; my grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding annivesary! And theire marriage is really an inspiration to all of us. They've given us snippets of advise for me and Robert during our visits to the Green House:
1. Trust
2. Respect
3. Love
4. Honesty
5. Presence and Time
Grandpa says he rules the whole household but Lola's commands the kitchen! Hahaha! Love them both!
